Michele A. Caron is an American and European trained gilder and conservator with 25 years of experience. Her training and technical procedures are firmly established in the European tradition while at the same time maintaining an open mind towards the contemporary and the future.

Michele A. Caron Designs offers in brief, the following services.

• Original gilded frame designs and hand crafting 
• Restoration and conservation of existing antique frames and gilded art objects 
• A line of new gilded art objects and furniture with the individual client in mind 
• Proprietary frame design for the discerning collector 
• A design and consulting service to the trade 

Michele A. Caron has owned and directed Atelier Gilding & Framing for the last 21 years choosing to dedicate her energies to the fine tradition of gold leaf gilding and conservation. She has located her business in her own facility in a small rural community in southern Maine. 

The location provides the client with immediate access to international airports and major interstate connections while also providing Michele with the stimuli and focus necessary to produce fine gilded works of art.
